usage of niche jobs websites. In the process coining the phrase Job Search 2.0. You know how you wish you’d thought of a phrase first. Well, that’s got to be a candidate. Here’s a snippet:
Candidates and prospective employers are increasingly connecting in the blogosphere and popular Blogs are beginning to add job posting offerings for their readers. Blogs and Online Communities are becoming the new “niche job boards.”

Equally we are reminded that the likes of MySpace and Bebo are unlikely to improve your standing and reputation on the Internet. But this nickname although unique casts my mind back to my primary school days when I first acquired the nickname as a bastardisation of my surname so I think it is perhaps time for a change it’ll still be a useful semi-anonymous label but for professional and personal I need something a little more open. I think ‘personal branding’ is a great idea. Any type of networking is an excellent way of finding the perfect job for yourself. However, one word of warning. Once you ‘go public’ with your CV (resume) then it’s available for anybody to read - not just prospective employers. If you post a link to an online resume be very careful that you are willing to share all the information wth the World at large!
