Chinwag Live: PR Unspun - Tue Apr 24th - 50% discount

Chinwag Live LogoThe latest in our series of Q&A sessions features a glittering line-up from the world of PR. Arguably this industry is the best placed to take advantage  of the popularity of the blogosphere, social networking sites and multi-player game environments like Second Life.

However, the social power of these environments works both ways. The ability to reach a large audience of like-minded individuals who will happily big-up your brand, also exists for people who want to complain about a companies’ activities or products.

The session will explore how these developments change the PR landscape? Is the press release dead? Is the art of spin dying out in the face of a new honesty demanded by an audience that’s more connected than ever before? How should companies react when they drop a clanger?

If you already work in PR, or are looking to get involved in the industry, don’t miss this event. It’s a great opportunity to quiz the industry’s leading practitioners and thinkers.

Our speakers really do have brains the size of planets:

Neville Hobson - VP, New Marketing, crayon LLC and one of the pioneers and influencers in using social media for business. Neville is a prodigous blogger and podcaster, with his twice weekly show, For Immediate Release.

Mark Rogers - Founder and CEO of Market Sentinel, an online monitoring and response specialist focused on user-generated content in blogs, message boards and consumer sites.

Jacqui White - Online Communications Director, Edelman. Jacquie oversees the online strategy development, quality assurance for all interactive clients and hands-on delivery for clients including Diageo, Unilever and the National AIDS Trust.

Stephanie Bonnet - Stephanie is Burson-Marsteller’s Digital Media champion for Europe, driving the knowledge, understanding and implementation of products and services for clients and colleagues.
