An acknowledged and award winning technology leader in the gaming and online entertainment industry is looking for a Senior Business Analyst (reporting to the Head of Data Management) and are looking for people who can bring a wide range of skills to a start-up environment and would like to be part of an expert team creating something unique.

The BA is expected to combine his/her own knowledge and experience of the business domain and should have a critical understanding of the business requirements and goals of the client. A solid grasp of the software engineering process is essential, in order to specify the product that the software development team will deliver.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Obtain knowledge of the client’s products and related financial markets and use this knowledge to challenge, refine and focus product direction
• Conduct interviews and gather system requirements
• Communicate systems requirements in terms of user stories, acceptance criteria, and where necessary detailed functional specifications
• Support programme and project management in prioritising and planning system delivery
• Coordinate and perform user acceptance testing activities
• Create and maintain documentation that serves as a knowledge base on product and industry topics
• Apply industry best-practice and conventions where appropriate

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Experience as the primary business analyst on one or more significant financial trading systems projects
• Understanding of financial markets and trading systems including prevalent and emergent communications standards
• Knowledge of techniques for requirements capture and specification
• Experience of working throughout a full project lifecycle
• Degree in technical, scientific or business curriculum desirable
• Experience of FSA regulated instruments, CFDs, derivatives trading, exchange trading and/or spread betting highly beneficial
