Responsible for the overall design of websites; both from scratch, and of updates on ongoing clients. Html and CSS coding of templates for new sites and updates on ongoing clients. Concept and hands on design using photoshop, imageready.


Main Responsibilities will be:

•Designing look and feel ideas for new build websites, using design knowledge
•Designing thorough page designs for all significant pages of new build websites, and getting them signed-off by clients through an iterative process.
•Seeing design process through from start to finish.
oCreation of template files for production of graphics, including slicing and optimising images using Imageready
•Fitting design and build process into company project management model.
•Input into project management plan, site map, and information architecture.
•Produce estimates for quotes to prospective clients.
•Build HTML for site, including:
oUsing style sheets to position elements and style content of site
oBuilding sites to all standards of accessibility compliance
oMaking sure sites pass required standards by validating CSS, HTML, and use of accessibility tools.
•Keep up to date on current best practice in web design and coding.
